“Cherokee”, the opening track from Cat Power’s new album Sun, is easily one of my favourite pieces of music released this year. When I reviewed the album for The Arts Desk I commented on the relationship between the song’s first couplets and some of the artist’s heavily publicised personal problems – but instead the video features post-apocalyptic zombie laser tag. Don’t I feel silly.
