We’ve been home for a couple of hours now – the kits, who have spent Christmas at my dad’s and will apparently now eat nothing but seafood, will be joining us shortly – and obviously the first thing* I wanted to check was that Xtra Mile’s Christmas bonus of new, free Frank Turner music was still live. “Four Simple Words”, the first track to be made available from Turner’s upcoming 2013 release (the download also comes with a b-side) was a particular highlight of his winter tour with the Sleeping Souls – playing host, as it did, to an inter-city dancing contest. You’re probably in the video, above, if you were at those shows.

*Just as obviously, the second thing I wanted to check was the Dollydagger sale – although, as I’m having emergency dental treatment tomorrow thanks to an unfortunate pick and mix-related filling accident during a Boxing Day screening of The Hobbit, it’s definitely a look-but-don’t-touch kinda browse.
