listen to the radio;

TYCI logo

You can now listen again to my TYCI radio debut, which is streaming on the SubCity website. Warning: I sound rather like I don’t really know what I’m doing, at least at the start, but the music is excellent and Halina Rifai is as entertaining as ever.

I’m actually surprised by how little I hate my radio voice (I hate transcribing interviews I’ve done), although I do sound much huskier than I think I do. Rumour has it I’m getting asked back next month, so I shall keep you posted!

TYCI for not in the know, is a Glasgow-based feminist collective involved in club nights, zines and regular web content as well as the radio show. I’ve done a couple of pieces for the blog recently, as part of our International Women of the Day series in the run-up to International Women’s Day: read about my choices Carrie Brownstein and Malala Yousafzai, if you’d like.
