she may not be an actor but she’s a pussy superstar;

A tiny old man with a tiny old dog walked past me last night as I waited for my brother to pick me up outside the train station. I couldn’t help but smile when he picked the wee thing up off its spindly little legs and lifted him up to peer through the window of the hairdresser’s at their Hallowe’en display.

I’m not really an animal person, but I suppose smiling at other people and their pets is going to be understandable for the next couple of days because our kittycat has been found! Leah jumped out of a window and went for a prowl around the streets of Paisley three weeks ago, but was taken in by a woman who guessed she must be cared for from her collar. She texted Stu within a few hours of a poster going up in the new Morrisons’.

And there was general feasting and celebration. The fabled rottweiler in kitten form is a little subdued after her adventure, which is pretty understandable, but I was sitting in the chair next to her favourite one in the kitchen while Margaret made some apple crumble when suddenly, for no reason I could fathom, this paw snaked out of nowhere and ripped a hole in my arm. Our baby’s back. Even if I can have her eating out of my hand now. In fact, she spent most of the night eating. We’re a little concerned that she’s possibly eating for six…

    Keep the damn kitten in one place, assorted relatives of the bezzer.

    She’s supposed to get baby-cat-enabled about 6 months, but she is big, and if the vet has already said she was due to be ‘done’. They’ll need to get her checked out though. Maybe she just got fat from chewing off limbs of unsuspecting humans.

    i’m sure if she’s only five or six months old, she’s not…”of age for mummyhood”, if you know what I mean. She may have been having lots of casual underage sex, though- tell that Stu to keep the bloody windows closed!

    I’m so glad your little friend has been found.

    Oh she’s such a rebel!

    I would suggest some much-needed ‘tough love’. Do they have super nannies for unruly teenage kittens? No wonder she was subdued, she’s probably a bit weary after her adventure. I think she needs some nights in by the fire with cuddles and a warm saucer of milk. Despite the attack, I’m sure she likes you just as much as you like her.
