christmas 2015: my festive wishlist;

As my husband and pals will tell you, I’m a nightmare to buy for. This is because I am terrible at waiting, so if I see something I like I will probably have already bought it for myself before I’ve had the chance to tell anybody that I want it. Since my birthday wishlist post worked so well – although apparently there was an awkward moment in which I nearly ended up with two of the Tatty Devine rainbow necklaces behind the scenes – I’m going to give this a go for Christmas too. Plus, if you’re anything like me, you probably also love having a nosy at what other people are wishing for.

Last Year's Girl's Christmas 2015 wishlist pt. 1
Cambridge Satchel Company Oxblood Taylor Swift satchel
Last Year's Girl's Christmas 2015 wishlist pt. 2

FROM TOP: Furla Candy satchel (£220, Furla)
Olympus PEN E-PL7 with pancake zoom lens (£499.99, Olympus); Esmé Patterson ‘Woman to Woman’ 12″ LP (£15.99, Xtra Mile); Light box with mix and match letter tiles (£30, Urban Outfitters)
Large twist-lock oxblood satchel (£175, Cambridge Satchel Co.)
Cake plate, tea mug and spoon gift set (£12.95, Not Shabby Very Chic); My Little Pony Christmas jumper (£39.99, Truffle Shuffle); Scrabble lights (£18.95, Amazon)
Dickins & Jones striped fit and flare dress (£75, House of Fraser); Things No One Will Tell Fat Girls by Jes Baker (£10.68, Amazon); Crosley Cruiser turquoise turntable (£80, The Retro Store)

Why, yes, after telling somebody earlier that I don’t need any more bags I’ve included two on my wishlist – although, to be fair, the Furla bag is my current Unrealistic Bag of Dreams (look how incredible it is! and it – almost – has my name on it!). The Olympus PEN is pretty unrealistic as well – all I know is I want a camera that’s easier to carry around with me than my SLR with anything more than my 50mm lens on it, but I can’t imagine spending more than the cost of an SLR to do so. I’ve loved the Dickins & Jones candy-cane striped dress since first I saw it, and Jes Baker is one of my favourite bloggers – I’m desperate to get my hands on her book.

The Crosley Cruiser is a shamefaced heart’s desire. As a proper music fan who buys most of the stuff she wants to keep on vinyl these days, I know that they’re no good for your records – but they’re so pretty! I have the music taste of your da – if your da was also a riot grrrl – and the aesthetics of a Zooey Deschanel movie role. The struggle is real, you guys!

What do you think of my picks? Have you made a Christmas wishlist? Link me up in the comments!
