last year’s postbox: cat hampurr;

The “unboxing” video has long been a blogger staple and yet I have never tried it – probably because I am older than yer maw and back when I started blogging we didn’t even have computers, never mind You Tubes. However, since I promised the lovely people behind Cat Hampurr – a subscription box for your furry housemates – that I’d do something special to mark the end of/a hiatus to my subscription, I thought it would be a laugh.

Cat Hampurr is one year old this month, and works just as you’d imagine – order a one-off box or subscribe for a selection of cat food, treats, toys and hygiene products for as little as £6 (plus postage) a month. Sign up for a box every month and it’ll cost you £15.90 with your postage included which, as I mention in the video, is easy enough for us cat fans to spend over the course of a month picking up little treats for our pals anyway! It’s all premium brands – no Whiskas here – and over the past year we’ve been introduced to now firm favourites like Thrive 100% real food treats, Plague Rats and Cheshire & Wain. We also, once, got sent catnip-filled tea bags shaped like little mice, which Scooter and the Big Man were completely uninterested in but which amused me for a good fortnight.

We’re giving the boxes a paw-se (sorry) for now while we rebudget after the house move, but Cat Hampurr are a lovely young company and I highly recommend the service. Take a look at my unboxing video, and let me know if you like the sound of it.

PS Here’s a bonus picture of Biggie chillin’ in his my new bed.

    Jack Off Jill!!

    Now I’m on the hunt for equivalents for the pups even though they already get custom blend food delivered every month.

      Hee! Hope you find something.

      I’m reviewing a service that sends out regular food deliveries next week – any excuse for more cat pictures… x
